Nintendo releasing new DSi with 4″ screen in Japan

Yes, you heard right… ANOTHER DS re-design is being released. This year, Japan will get a new version of the DSi with a 4″ screen (as compared to the current 3.25″ model) for the same price that the DSi retails for currently in Japan (18,900 yen). A release outside of Japan is still being considered.

Am I the only one who is very angry? I was so happy to be getting the latest Nintendo handheld for a change (I usually just stick with the original model, but this time I got a DS and a DSi)… only to find out yet another model is being released. Honestly Nintendo… just wait and focus on the next-gen DS already, we don’t need more re-designs!
